Sanderson, part of the wider RSG group, was established 40 years ago, now operating from 10 offices across the UK and Europe. The Southampton office was opened last year to create a footprint for our brand along the South Coast and surrounding areas, and build on the business that we had started to develop in that area.
Having had considerable success over the last 12 months, we have built up a strong portfolio of prestigious clients in the local area and a wide network of candidates. There is a high volume of work being generated and we are now looking for a consultant who knows the market, understands the perm recruitment process and can start delivering into the current vacancies as well as supporting the continued growth of the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our company at the early stages of a new region, where you will have the chance to really develop your market and see the direct impact of your work on the business. With the industry expertise and financial backing of a long established and widely respected brand, the Southampton office has all the benefits of a start up organisation, without any of the risk.
You will be coming on to a very warm desk with an existing book of business and strong flow of work, so you will be able to gain traction from the out set. The focus initially will be the direct attraction and delivery of high quality candidates and networking to build a pool of resource.
In time, you will naturally incorporate business development but that will come through building relationships and identifying business opportunities through market knowledge and connections, rather than relentless cold calling for the sake of hitting targets.
The primary focus is on relationships, both with clients and candidates. In our business, it is about providing the highest standard of service, operating with professional credibility and integrity in order to bring together the strongest candidates and most prestigious clients.

Ideally we would like you to have an experience within IT & Business Change, our speciality market. Alternatively, a background in another area of Professional Services recruitment that will be transferrable to our business areas.
This is not an entry level role but it is also not a senior position. It is the ideal step for someone with a few years experience in recruitment, looking for the opportunity to build on what they have already learned, and join an organisation that will provide them with the platform to take their career to the next level.
